Olympic Postcards

The RMS Olympic shown painted camouflage for service in World War I. It was converted from a luxury liner into a troop transport ship. This real picture postcard is highly desirable amongst collectors.

Not only was the outside painted but the inside was as well. For years many speculated as to the shade of green that might have been used. Thankfully we own a piece of grand staircase wood showing the various layers of paint that was used on Olympic.

A very nice looking real picture postcard of the Olympic taken in Southampton while in dry-dock for mainentance. This sepia colored postcard is unused.
